Our vanilla grows in a natural environment.

It is then carefully prepared and refined according to artisanal and traditional know-how to reveal the secret aroma of vanilla.

We work in close collaboration with an association of local producers in order to guarantee the quality and the traceability of our vanillas. All products are checked, validated and packaged in compliance with European food safety standards, at the head office in Grenchen.

VanilleGourmet

A culture that respects biodiversity

Our vanilla pods grow in a natural environment: in the tropical forests of north-eastern Madagascar, with a temperature between 21-32 ° C, a pluviometry of 2,000 to 2,500 mm per year to initiate blossoming.

Our traditional culture uses an agro-forestry technique which is beneficial in terms of sustainability and conservation of biodiversity.

Traditional and artisanal know-how

After the pods reach their maximum length, a long maturation is required. A long manual process begins with the use of preparation materials made from vegetable fibres, such as steaming in burlap (hessian fabric).

This complex process transforms the green fruits into a spice with pleasantly fragrant aromas and rich in flavour.
